Misplaced Dreams

Guardian
Guardian

Some days are lost to memories
stray thoughts meandering down a path that leads ever backwards
wondering how in the world it went so wrong

So much water has passed under the bridge
I can walk this path now without drowning in tears
but the wind blows wistfully and whispers in the treetops
telling secrets I can no longer hear

I remember what it was like to walk between the raindrops
to feel my roots in the earth and see the future in the fire
... to dance with the elements and embrace the magick

The wind still blows and the wheel of time keeps turning
taking me farther and farther from the time that was
into a future that has yet to be dreamed

Gone but not forgotten you will always be ... a part of me
a candle burning bright in the the recesses of my mind
in the here ... in the now
Memories are powerful, they can defeat even Death

It's my dreams I need help finding
so I can create a future in which magick survives

  3. it seems to me that the more i look to the future or the past, the less i am aware that the magic of Life is here

    now

where infinity lives, there we be. all is only a question of eyes to see, eyes for which gratitude, joy and love are key.

best wishes to you for finding your dreams ~

  5. What a perfect combination of poetry and visuals this entry is. I've shot in cemeteries before, but never as powerfully as you've done here. I love this.

  6. I just keep coming back to this- to read and to exhale. A rare thing to see a shot of a cemetery that inspires a sense of complete tranquility.
